Is Brian Godawa a Last Days Heretic?

Am I a heretic?

Or just a timid voice of sanity in the wilderness of failed prophecy pundits?

I love these guys at Canary Cry. Best headline for any of my interviews yet.

We don’t have the same view of the end times, but they are gracious and fair and have a good sense of humor.

This interview was energetic and inspiring and intense!

We talked about my change of mind in eschatology (end times beliefs). We talked about the world of modern prophecy interpretation and how extreme and ungracious Christians can be with each other over non-essential doctrines. On that, we agreed!

We talked about my novel Tyrant: Rise of the Beast as well as my theological book on the end times, End Times Bible Prophecy: It’s Not What They Told You.

We talked about Jesus’ Olivet Discourse and Daniel and the Beast. Lively discussion. Helpful in sorting out the problems and issues.

Enjoy the show here.

SPOILER ALERT: I am happy to announce that they concluded I am not a heretic! 🙂

  • Brian I have enjoyed much of your writings with the exception that I am a full preterist and I still call partial preterists futurists. I wish some of the people you quote were not all partial preterists. There is much wisdom out they even with the full preterists. I would encourage some dialogue with David Curtis or Don Preston to get a different view. I love your easy to read way of writing and I intend on reading much more. This is just a suggestion. Have a wonderful day

    • Thanks for your comments, SD.
I actually have quite a few of Preston’s books. And I am using Ed Stevens on 1st century stuff and Duncan McKenzie on Daniel and some others, as well as Russell. I have also listened to David Curtis teachings.
OH boy, you are gonna love the second book in the Apocalypse Chronicles. Lots for Full preterists to appreciate.

      • Oh that is great. I look forward to reading it. I am so glad you have investigated full preterism. I didn’t mean any criticism. I am just so thrilled with this new knowledge God gave me I love to see others find it as well. It just makes the whole story of God fit. Thanks for the reply and keep up the great work. I have a small bible study and one other in the group is quite taken with your material as well.

          • That’s an interesting term. I will have to mull that one. I frankly hate the way christians label everything. I have been a preterist for over 20 years. No full or partial. It made sense and the more I studied and realized the more sense it made. But then partial preterists reared up and full preterists were born. Partial futurists. I would like to hear more.
            Sincerely

  • Great interview on CCR – I’ve recently been exposed to Michael Heiser and now your material = finally I don’t have to make excuses around Bible verses that seem out of place. So many doors open…. Good stuff!

    • I’m so encouraged to read this, William. I felt the same way when I discovered Heiser. So much so that it launched my 8 novel series, soon to be 11. It was like nuclear imagination fuel for my theology. Let me know if you have any questions.
