(Chronicles of the Watchers Book 5)

Price range: $0.99 through $26.95

The Supernatural Story of Hanukkah.

A supernatural epic novel about the Abomination of Desolation predicted by the Bible prophet Daniel that was fulfilled in the books of the Maccabees in the Apocrypha.

This is Part 2 of 2 novels.

After the story in Part 1, Judah Maccabee now leads a growing force of Jewish guerrilla freedom fighters in Israel against the ruthless Greek forces of Seleucid king Antiochus Epiphanes.

Judah takes a beautiful Greek princess hostage. Her name is Laodice V, and she hates her uncle the king.

As Judah faces the king’s best generals in battles, he begins to fall in love with the princess hostage.

But she is a Greek atheist and he is an observant Jew. Can they find true love when they worship different gods?

Judah’s goal is to recapture Jerusalem and cleanse the temple from its idolatrous Abomination of Desolation, the altar of Zeus, returning Israel to Torah.

But he is outnumbered seven-to-one, under-supplied, a traitor is about to betray him…

And Rome is putting its iron foot down.

Spiritual Warfare

At the same time, this story delves into the demonic territorial spirits over Greece, Egypt, and Rome as they masquerade as gods of the nations.

And those fallen angels hate Israel’s God. They are planning a revolt of their own that ties back to the ancient Nephilim in the days of Joshua and before the Flood.

The Abomination of Desolation Past and Future

There is an appendix at the end of this Part 2 that explores the biblical theological and historical interpretation of the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel and Jesus. You will be surprised to see how the biblical view is so different from the speculations of the modern industrial prophecy complex.

Spin-off Series to Chronicles of the Nephilim

What if the pagan gods of the nations were fallen angelic Watchers from God’s throne? Judah Maccabee – Part 2 is part of the series Chronicles of the Watchers that charts the influence of spiritual warfare on human history, just like Chronicles of the Nephilim and Chronicles of the Apocalypse.

“This in the second book that brings the story of the Macabee's to a conclusion. It is well researched and well written. It has an exciting conclusion… History blended with spiritual insight to transport the reader to a time and place when gods found a way to influence and corrupt.”

“Historical fiction at its best
I love the historical fiction genre, while remaining true to what we know in the scriptures.
There is a cosmic war in the spiritual rhelm of the unseen and this is one picture of what it might look like.
I learned quite a bit of history, geography, etc as I read.”

“There’s SO much more to the story of Hanukkah, the years before and after, that most aren’t aware of. If not for the Maccabees, the entire tribe of Judah would’ve been wiped out. There would’ve been no jews, no messiah, no followers of Yeshua, no christianity… this is extremely well researched. He beautifully lays out the intertwining histories of peoples, nations, & shifting loyalties. He reminds us of the great spiritual battle going on just beyond our field of view. And, even though these fictionalized accounts, as I read these books, in my spirit, much of it rings true.”

“Great storytelling!
You need to read both of the Judah Maccabee books to get the full story. They are very cinematic and I believe they would make a great series of movies, or possibly a television mini-series. This was an important, though not well known, time in biblical history.”
