Finally, a novel that brings to life the spiritual world of Daniel. Reformed Fringe Interview with Brian Godawa
“Daniel: Exile in Babylon is kind of like Harry Potter meets God because he goes to magician school and he’s with his Jewish buddies… he’s maybe 15 or 16 at best. This is an interesting story and they’ve got friends and bullies in the school just like any scenario of adolescents throughout all of history. I decided to flesh out the characters of Mishael, Azariah, and Hananiah. I’m gonna give a little teaser or Easter egg: one of them is autistic. And he actually ended up becoming one of the most interesting characters of the whole story… His specialness becomes a gift, but it also is a difficulty because he gets into trouble because of it.”
Doug Van Dorn is a brilliant Christian scholar who interviews me on my new novel Daniel: Exile in Babylon on his podcast, Reformed Fringe.
